NAO Biotechnology processes and tests every cell batch before it ships: microbiological screening (bacteria, mycoplasma, fungi/yeast), a full infectious-disease serology panel (Hepatitis B/C, HIV I/II, SARS-CoV-2, Chlamydia, VDRL), flow cytometry for cell viability and identity markers, karyotype analysis for genetic stability, and oncogene-expression screening. Each batch ships with its own signed Certificate of Quality.

What this laboratory prepares
Every cellular product we coordinate starts here: stem cells for the joint and intravenous applications, exosomes, fibroblasts for aesthetic work, and freeze-dried placenta. The count for your own case is set by the treating physician and printed on the certificate that travels with the batch; the figure each application costs is on the prices page.
What every batch is tested for
This is the part of a treatment a patient almost never gets to see, so it is worth setting out in full. Each of these runs before a batch ships, and the results go on the certificate that travels with it.
- Microbiological screening
- Bacteria, mycoplasma, fungi and yeast. Contamination that would be invisible in the vial.
- Infectious-disease serology
- A full panel on the donor material: Hepatitis B and C, HIV I/II, SARS-CoV-2, Chlamydia, and syphilis (VDRL).
- Flow cytometry
- Counts the cells that are actually alive and confirms they carry the identity markers of the cell type they are meant to be. This is where the viability and the count on your certificate come from.
- Karyotype analysis
- Examines the chromosomes for genetic stability — how a laboratory detects that a cultured batch has drifted.
- Oncogene-expression screening
- Screens for expression of genes associated with uncontrolled cell growth.
Every batch leaving this laboratory carries its own signed certificate. Ask for the one belonging to your batch — not a general brochure — and read it against the list above.
